Each year, FTI Consulting identifies engagements where we can make a positive impact for individuals and organizations that otherwise may not have the resources to engage our experts. Since the launch of our pro bono program in 2016, our people have sourced pro bono projects largely through individual and segment-led efforts.
The Estate of George P. Floyd Reaches Historic USD$27 Million Wrongful Death Settlement
Experts from FTI Consulting’s Compass Lexecon subsidiary provided pro bono support in the federal civil rights lawsuit that was filed by the Trustee of George Floyd’s family against the City of Minneapolis and the four officers accused of causing Mr. Floyd’s death.
Collaborating in Crisis: Responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic
COVID-19 upended livelihoods and businesses globally, and the impacts will continue even as the pandemic recedes. While events were cancelled and traditional volunteering opportunities were limited, our experts responded in creative ways with a common goal: to help make a difference.
Change in Action: Standing Together Against Racial Inequality
In 2020, we stood together to support social and racial justice following the senseless murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and countless others. FTI Consulting employees donated to many organizations dedicated to achieving social justice, championing civil rights and ending systemic racism.
